I don’t want to be a burden, God. I certainly don’t want pity. But I can no longer do it all alone.

Today, I encourage you to set aside worrying about vanity, and to look for all the REAL beauty in life. Here’s a hint. The first place to start is with calling out to God.

A Christian monk earnestly prayed that a vision of Jesus Christ might be revealed to him. After praying for many hours, the monk heard a voice telling him the visionwould occur the next morning at daybreak. Before the first rays of dawn appeared the following morning, the monk was on his knees at the altar.

A lady recently asked her co-worker what it was like to be a Christian?

A young man who had been raised as an atheist was training to be an Olympic diver. The only religious influence in his life came from his outspoken Christian friend.

The University professor challenged his students with this question.
“Did God create everything that exists?”
A student bravely replied, “Yes he did!”
“God created everything?” The professor asked.

How is it that God above
Has never gone on strike
Because he was not treated fair
In things He didn’t like.

And the Lord said GO!
And I said who me?
And He said Yes You.
And I said
But I’m not ready yet
And there is studying to be done.
I’ve got this part-time job.
You know how tight my schedule is.
And He said You’re Stalling.

Let me be a good teacher and an even better example.
Give me the right words and deeds to teach them.
Grant me the key to unlock their spirits and set them truly free.
For they’re only little one time,
only innocent and trusting and pliable for a space of time,
one minute in an eternity.
