Think of the shepherds and The Wise Men.
Remember Mary and Joseph.

One is for the manger where Baby Jesus lay.
Two is for Mary and Jeseph on that Christmas Day.
Three is for the Wise Men who brought three gifts of love.

Twas the night before Christmas,
when all thru the abode
Only one creature was stirring,
& she was cleaning the commode.

My Christmas wish for you, my friend
Is not a simple one
For I wish you hope and joy and peace,
Days filled with warmth and sun.

Christmas is a season,
For gifts of every kind;
All the glittering, pretty things
That Christmas shoppers find;
Baubles, beads, and bangles

I would wish for wonderful things to come to you.

“me” who receives these
presents is the Christian.
The “partridge in a pear tree”
was Jesus Christ who died on a tree as a gift from God.

and readying his sleigh.
Soon, he’ll be on his way,
to bring you a Merry Christmas day.

Someone’s watching over you with the greatest love.
Someone wants you to be happy, safe, and secure.
Someone considers you a wonderful individual
and cares about your needs.
