As I went about my daily routine
a thought came to mind:
You’ve always been a support to me;
something so hard to find.

Don’t you hate it when two people belong together but don’t do anything about it?
A best friend is a friend you can call at night and say…

Be a friend. You don’t need money:
Just a disposition sunny;
Just the wish to help another
Get along some way or other;
Just a kindly hand extended
Out to one who’s unbefriended;

I have a gift, called friends from God
They give me courage
They give me love, reminding me
Of when a flower begins to open
Or a waterfall touches the sea, all
My friends are as beautiful as these.
