A fire to light inside your heart,
to feel the warm embers glow.

There are many such about us;
It may be that one is near.

When troubles come your soul to try

Perhaps there’s nothing he or she can do
The thing is strictly up to you.

It’s amazing what can truly happen,
How your life can be so grand;
When you give up trying on your own
And let an angel hold your hand.

Perhaps we have not counted
All our blessings one by one;
Perhaps we have not bothered
To remember whence they come;

among family and friends.

Sometimes, we are in love in the idea of falling in love.
Loving the illusion of having or missing someone.
It’s alright to feel happy through other people,
but don’t get dependent on achieving happiness by being with someone.

Don’t shield yourself from pain, never fear pain either. Face whatever it is that comes your way.
Don’t be afraid to stumble and fall, to cry and get hurt. Dread not those helpless moments,
when you can’t even fight your tears back, and all you can do is stare at something and let time pass.

The important thing in life is not to be bitter over life’s difficulties.
We should learn to let go of the past and recognize that everyday won’t be sunny…
