I’ve heard the saying, “The best gift parents can ever give to their children is to love each other.”
I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing the truth of this statement for over 40 years. From as far back as I can remember my Mom and Dad were a team. A great partnership. They were more than just a partnership. It was as if they were one person.

There was a blind girl who hated herself just

He’s always there for her.

As a California tourist unaccustomed to single digits, the bitter cold of that December day in Washington, D.C., was dampening my holiday mood. Accounting for the windchill factor, the temperature was below zero. When I ducked into Union Station, I hoped only to get warm.

One day an elderly man entered into a hospital. He was grumpy from being on medication and the nurse’s thought him to be insane as he yelled for his wife to get the apple basket. By the time they had checked him into his room the nurses were exhausted from the fight he was putting up.
