Don’t say you’re not important,
It simply isn’t true,
The fact that you were born,
Is proof, God has a plan for you.

Hope gives you the strength to keep going
when you feel like giving up.

When the road of life seems long
Bringing sorrow at each bend,
Remember God is close to you
On His love you can depend.

Enough happiness to keep you sweet
Enough trials to keep you strong

I may not have a lot of fame
Nor a mansion on a hill,
I have no real fine gifts to give
There is nothing to reveal.

May angels rest beside your door,
May you hear their voices sing.
May you feel their loving care for you,
May you hear their peace bells ring.

Today, when I awoke,
I suddenly realized that this is
the best day of my life, ever!

Desperately, helplessly, longingly, I cried.
Quietly, patiently, lovingly God replied.
I pled and I wept for a clue to my fate,
And the Master so gently said, “Child, you must wait!”

When the day gets off to a happy start…
and you have so much to give,
from the bottom of your heart….

During my second month of nursing school, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions, until I read the last one: “What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?”
