There is a song for Christmas I like you to know
It comes deep in my heart like the purest snow
When I look at the night I see a star so bright
It warms me inside to see such a light
Then I sing a Christmas song
And a family I know
Who had a child named Jesus
It sets me a glow
The harps are playing a sweet melody
Bells chime in rhythm in a manger
Ever so clear, a happy event, so very near
A Christmas song, for you and for me
A child so humble, yet a king he will be
The shepherd’s and wise men
So close and so far
Angel’s voice’s, a chorus, I hear
A miracle from God, a love so dear
All through the night and on Christmas day too
A child of God was send to you
So I sing a Christmas song which can never end
Jesus may be God but he is also our greatest friend.
