For you I shed my blood,
each drop a pool of mankinds hatred.

For you I hung my head and wept the tears of salt,
bitter and burning in wounds open, festered.

For you my father sacrificed his flesh.
So life everlasting in love, you could embrace.

For you I endured the blows of anger incessant
and spittle from libatious tongue

For you I drew breath,
my last, feeling forsaken.

Endured the mummers dance
and gamblers laughter at my feet.

For I loved you with all
I had to give and gave with all I had to love.
