The Power of Prayer

The power of prayer is subtle and unassuming.
It can calm a restless soul, even when you’re fuming.

Whether you pray in a mosque, temple, church or  at home.
you have the reassurance, you’ll never be alone.

Religious people are strong, they always do what’s right.
Religion doesn’t see color, brown, black or white.

In this world we live in, violence and corruption.
Earthquakes and volcanic  eruptions.

Others might say, why have you got your faith.
Because to greed and envy, I’m not a slave.

I can see the beauty and the good that is still present.
Rather then concentrating on negativity, hate and resent.

I’ve been blessed with a mother who taught me I can achieve  whatever  I desire.
Been blessed with friends like sisters,
and best of all, saved from an eternity in hell’s fire.
