We bless the life around us far more than we realize. Many simple, ordinary things that we do can affect those around us in profound ways: the unexpected phone call, the brief touch, the willingness to listen generously, the warm smile or wink of recognition.
It is only a tiny rosebud,
A flower of God’s design;
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy
hands of mine.
The “Praying Hands” are much, much more
than just a work of art,
They are the “soul’s creations”
of a deeply thankful heart.
God, I thank you for the place where no
one goes but you and I; for the secret field,
the tree, the rock, the corner in the house
where I may go and find myself again and,
in finding me, find you.
I look to the Heavens at God’s wonderful art,
I wonder how it all came to be.
Dearest Lord, in your grace,
say a prayer for me.
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: One belonged to him, the other to the LORD.
Mommy went to Heaven, but I need her here today,
My tummy hurts and I fell down, I need her right away,

I was walking down life’s highway a long time ago. One day I saw a sign that read `Heaven Grocery Store’.
As I got a little closer, the door came wide open, And when I came to myself, I was standing inside.
I have a friend called Jesus
On Him I do depend,
He walks with me and talks to me
His mercy never ends.
Give me your help Lord,
To live this one day.
One knot to unravel;
One problem to weigh.
