Let us remember that the Christmas heart is a giving heart, a wide open heart that thinks of others first. The birth of the baby Jesus stands as the most significant event in all history

Merry Christmas to the one I love,
Even on this day of love for all,
Remembering the love of one whose call
Redeemed all those whose hearts his love might move.

May your neighbors respect you,
Trouble neglect you,
The angels protect you
and Heaven accept you.

At Christmas time our hearts reach out to friends we think of dearly,
And checking through our friendship lists, as all of us do yearly,

Twas the night before Christmas,
when all thru the abode
Only one creature was stirring,
& she was cleaning the commode.

Christmas is a season,
For gifts of every kind;
All the glittering, pretty things
That Christmas shoppers find;
Baubles, beads, and bangles
Of silver and gold.

If I could have a Christmas wish come true,
I would wish for wonderful things to come to you.
I wish you happiness in everything you do,
I hope not many worries or problems will come to you.

Each December, I vowed to make Christmas a calm and peaceful experience. I had cut back on nonessential obligations — extensive card writing, endless baking, decorating, and even overspending.
