I have a gift, called friends from God
They give me courage
They give me love, reminding me
Of when a flower begins to open
Or a waterfall touches the sea, all
My friends are as beautiful as these.

If I had to pick but one thing
To take across the sea
I think I’d pick a good friend
To go along with me
Someone who concerned with every thing you do,
Someone to call upon during good and bad times,
Someone who understands whatever you do,
1. Open Up.
Be honest, open and candid (tempered with kindness).
2. Stand Up.
For your friends, whether they are there or not.
Fold two hands together
And express a dash of sorrow
Marinate it overnight
And work on it tomorrow
As the road ahead seems rugged
And the path is getting steep,
I feel that I can’t make it
So my heart begins to weep.
Let’s always be
the kind of friends we are today.
Let’s always be there
for each other, no matter what.
I GIVE TO YOU
A fire to light inside your heart,
to feel the warm embers glow.
A piece of the sun’s warm rays,
to bask in it’s fiery show.
When troubles come your soul to try
You love the friend who just stands by.
Perhaps there’s nothing he or she can do
The thing is strictly up to you.
First impressions are lasting, and somehow you never forget that first meeting.
The pain and agony you may have been
experiencing, and your times of sadness
suddenly changes to sheer delight,
and laughter.
Then you realize, vow! This person is a friend!
