To share in your life’s laughter and to cheer you when you’re blue.

you could reach in and pull out

Your friend is your needs answered.
He is your field which you sow with love and reap with thanksgiving.
And he is your board and your fireside.
For you come to him with your hunger, and you seek him for peace.

As you have meant, old friend of mine,
to me along the way.

Sometimes it’s hard to write the words
That you, my dear, should see.
Or say the things that you need to hear,
Or be as I should be.

You my friend are a gift from heaven.
A heaven sent for eternity.
I’ve search for you, and found you eventually.
I will never let you go.
