I believe we create our own luck, whether it’s good or bad. Consciously, or unconsciously, we may have ourselves at some time or another, produced our current conditions, either in our bodily health or other circumstances.

Do you worry? Are you concerned about your future to the point where it steals your joy? Jesus said in Matthew 6:25, “Take no thought for your life.”
That seems simple enough, but for some reason we don’t get it. We think we have to run our own lives and make things happen. If something isn’t going right we think we have to fix it. There’s nothing more frustrating than trying to make something happen that is never meant to happen.

May you have all the joy your heart can hold, all the smiles a day can bring, all the blessings a life can unfold, may you have God’s blessing in everything. Wishing you a Happy Birthday.

Life’s hard to live and still people make it harder to live. Just living for right takes so much, that I wonder how people have time to do wrong, foolish things, to make life more complicated.

Sometimes, God doesn’t give us the things we want
because He knows the things we truly desire,
desires that we may not even be aware of
because we do not truly know ourselves.

I had a dream that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels. My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, ‘This is the Receiving Section.
Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received.’

I come to you everyday,
and bow my head in prayer.
I ask that you’ll forgive my sins,
and show me that you care.

Be with me, God, when I’m happy
And all of my skies are blue;
Don’t let me take life for granted
But for ever be thankful to You.

I’m thankful for each strand of hair that grows upon my head.
I’m thankful for the clothes I wear and for a nice warm bed…

Dear God, I pray for patience….
