Life is a mixture of sunshine and rain,
Laughter and pleasure, teardrops and pain,
All days can’t be bright, but it’s certainly true
I may never see tomorrow, there’s no written guarantee,
And things that happened yesterday belong to history.
“I got two A’s,” said the little boy,
His voice was filled with glee.
His father said, “If you studied more,”
“You might have gotten three.”
I refuse to be discouraged, To be sad, or to cry;
I refuse to be downhearted, and here’s the reason why:
I have a God who’s mighty, Who’s sovereign and supreme;
When the world brings you down,
and hurtful words break your heart,
don’t turn around
and walk away from who you are…
Light yourself a candle
A story it will tell
Always old and never new
One we know very well.
I’ll paint you a rainbow to hang on the wall,
to brighten your heart when the grey shadows fall.
On a canvas of joy outlasting the years,
with a soft brush of sweetness to dry all your tears.
GOD SAID…
If you never felt pain,
then how would you know that
I’m a Healer?
If the world was blind,
maybe then we’d see
the true side of beauty,
deep within you and me.
My daily wish is that we may
See good in those who pass our way;
Find in each a worthy trait
That we shall gladly cultivate.
